Foot Pain

Foot pain can affect anyone and may result from injury, overuse, or chronic conditions. It can limit mobility and make even simple tasks like walking difficult. At RAD Clinics, we offer targeted injection for foot pain to relieve discomfort and improve function, helping you get back to your daily activities with less pain. The foot is a complex structure composed of 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It’s divided into three sections: the forefoot (toes), midfoot (arch), and hindfoot (heel and ankle). This intricate anatomy allows for balance, flexibility, and movement, but also makes the foot susceptible to various injuries and conditions. Common causes of foot pain include:

  • Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the plantar fascia, the thick band of tissue connecting the heel to the toes, often causing heel pain.

  • Arthritis: Degeneration or inflammation of the joints in the foot, leading to stiffness, pain, and swelling.

  • Tendinitis: Inflammation of the tendons in the foot due to overuse or repetitive motion.

  • Bursitis: Swelling of the fluid-filled sacs (bursae) that cushion the bones and tendons, causing discomfort in the foot.
